The Sumatran orangutan is the rarest species of orangutan. It lives exclusively on the island of Sumatra, which is located in Indonesia. Their bodies are smaller compared to Bornean orangutans.
Pacu Jawi is a traditional bull race held in muddy rice fields of West Sumatra after harvest. Riders stand on wooden plows, racing two bulls in a thrilling, muddy cultural spectacle.
The Pagaruyung Kingdom was a kingdom that once existed in the central part of Sumatra Island. Its territory now forms part of the land area of West Sumatra Province, parts of Riau Province, and the western coastal region of North Sumatra Province.

DAY 1 | MEDAN - BUKIT LAWANG

Meet and great our team in Kuala Namu Airport (Medan)
Head towards Bukit Lawang
Afternoon arrival in Bukit Lawang and overnight at an eco-lodge

DAY 2 | ORANG UTAN TREKKING

One day trekking experience in Gunung Leuser National Park. Spot Orangutans and tropical wildlife
Enjoy lunch by the riverside in the jungle, then return to the lodge by river tubing

DAY 3 | BUKIT LAWANG - BERASTAGI

Scenic drive to the cool highlands of Berastagi. Stop at panoramic viewpoint, visit Berastepu the abandoned village cause Mt. Sinabung eruption, Lumbini Budhist temple and local fruit markets.
Overnight in Berastagi

DAY 4 | BERASTAGI- LAKE TOBA

Morning soft hiking to Mt.Sibayak enjoy the sunrise and volcanic view, visit DOKAN traditional Batak Karo village, and Sipiso-Piso waterfall
Continue the journeys to Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in Southeast Asia.
Ferry transfer to Samosir Island and overnight by the lake side

Day 7 | LAKE TOBA - P. SIDEMPUAN

Overland journey south through scenic countryside and rural villages
Arrival in Padang Sidempuan and overnight in Padang Sidempuan

DAY 8 | P. SIDEMPUAN - BUKITTINGGI

Full day scenic drive to Bukitinggi, passing forest, valleys, and traditional villages, several stops along the route.
Arrival in Bukittinggi in afternoon
Overnight in Bukittinggi

DAY 9 | BUKITTINGGI AND MINANGKABAU CULTURE

City tour of Bukittinggi including Jam Gadang, Sianok Canyon, and traditional local markets.
Introduction to Minangkabau culture and traditional architecture

DAY 10 | BUKITTINGGI - MANINJAU LAKE - BUKITTINGGI

Excursion to Lake Maninjau via spectacular Kelok 44 road, visit Lawang village to see home factory make brown sugar.
Enjoy the panoramic views of the crater lake
Visit traditional village and walk around the village before returning to Bukittinggi

DAY 11 | BUKITTINNGI - HARAU VALLEY

Continue to Harau Valley, Known for its dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and rice fields.
Passing the tradional villages and several stops along the route
Arrive in Harau Valley in afternoon
Overnight in Harau Valley

DAY 12 | EXPLORE HARAU VALLEY

Explore Harau Valley with Tuk-Tuk 3 wheels motor bike, Gentle walks or hiking too the cafe,
Enjoy the dramatic cliffs, waterfalls
Join with local people practice for traditional event Duck Race (If available)

DAY 13 | HARAU VALLEY - PADANG

Continue the journey to Padang, Visti local coffee roastery and try the iconic Tea made from coffee leaf
Visit the King Palace Pagaruyung, the historical old mosque in Batipuah village
Enjoy the road via Anai Valley
Arrive afternoon in Padang city
Overnight in Padang

DAY 14 | RELAX AND SNORKELING IN PAGANG ISLAND

Full day at Leisure on Pagang Island, Snorkeling and Swimming
Return to Padang in afternoon
